   These prices are simply estimations based on an average home layout. Installing these exact systems with our recommended mid to high end components in your home might be more or less expensive, depending on many different factors. But don't be discouraged by either the lack of a specific component or the cost, as many more components can be added and there are less expensive alternatives to fit any budget!

a) All installations depend on high-speed internet so you need to have service that provides at least 768Mbps down and 256Kbps up.
b) Life|ware is extremely flexible and can control just about any device with RS232 (serial) or infra red (IR) inputs. However, custom configurations take time and in many cases instead of customizing it to your existing hardware, it is actually less expensive to simply purchase a new device from a manufacturer that is already supported within Life|ware such as the ones listed on our Home page.
